Aim

Design an original, fully mechanical locking bottle safety collar for hotel amenities to enable refillable operations, prevent water pooling, and eliminate guest biohazard tampering.

My Contributions

• Led the full design lifecycle from concept to manufacturing, including preliminary research, initial hand sketches, and CAD modeling.
• Integrated non-corrosive off-the-shelf standard hardware into custom geometric models using SolidWorks and applied GD&T principles.
• Rapidly prototyped iterations via 3D printing and refined the mechanism based on stakeholder feedback, unit cost analyses, and manufacturing feedback.
